Rumfish y Vino: A Coastal Gastropub Experience in Ventura, CA

We went to dinner Friday night to celebrate Valentine’s a day early to beat the crowds. My husband made reservations and when we got there, they took us right in. Our waitress was wonderful! Her name was Jaqueline and she was extremely friendly and accommodating. She suggested a few mocktails because we aren’t drinking alcohol & they were delicious. Every time we’ve been there the food has been exceptional, truly no complaints. Tonight when we went we unfortunately weren’t a big fan of the Apple crumble dessert and hardly ate it. Our server saw we didn’t care for it and she automatically took it off the bill. Last time we went we had the key lime cheesecake and that was delicious.. Great restaurant, vibes, and staff!! We plan to continue having date nights here.

Hello Folks, Rumfish y Vino is a wonderful tasty restaurant, its worth the money. I have there octopus medallions for appetizer, Salmon for dinner and virgin blackberry mojito, and "WOW". The food was just melting in my mouth the flavors where just exploding on my taste buds. The mojito was well balanced and fresh. I can go on and on. Look at me photographs, come and feed your food souls. God bless you all..

My go to place for special occasions. I love this place. Really good Happy Hour menu. Delicious cocktails. I’ve loved everything I’ve tried here, from the Fish Tacos to the Ribeye Steak. Special shout out for the Baby Gem Salad and the Conch Chowder. Oh and the Caribbean Fish Stew is freaking epic. Don’t sleep on the Fish Stew, yo! There are beautifully set tables inside and outside on a covered patio. I love the patio, but if you want to take photos of your food, you need a table in the center of the patio. The tables around the periphery are too dark for photos. In fact, it’s so dark it’s very difficult to even read the damn menu. Hey Rumfish y Vino, would you please do something about the lighting?

I checked out Rumfish y Vino in Ventura after a Yelp friend recommended it, and wow, it lives up to its high ratings! This spot is all about tapas, and their happy hour menu is a total win. The portions are small, but the flavors are huge. The flatbread with bacon was fabulous—crispy, savory, and just perfect. The pork belly taco was super tasty, and the steamed mussels were straight-up amazing, with great flavor. The outdoor patio was buzzing and filled up fast, clearly the go-to spot for diners. It’s got this mesmerizing European vibe that makes you feel like you’re on a little vacation. Our server was awesome, super friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed, which made the experience even better. The place was packed on a weekday, so I can only imagine the weekend crowds! Parking’s easy with a free 4-hour public lot nearby. Definitely a spot worth hitting up!

Cozy chic resturant located in the downtown area of Ventura. Ambiance is inviting. The outdoor patio area has the best seats. Theres plenty of dish selections to choose from (seafood, steaks, salads, etc). Menu was nicely sectioned. Although there's plenty of dish options menu doeent look over whelming. Food was savory and delicious!! Service was exceptional! Waittess was sweet and accomondating. One of the best dining experience. Will definitely be back again.

We had a great experience at RumFish. My husband ordered the blackened snook and said it was one of the best fish dishes he’s ever had. Our son also enjoyed his fish dish, and our daughter loved the fish and chips. The restaurant is lively and well designed with a fun atmosphere. Service was friendly and attentive, even on a very busy night. While it was crowded, the quality of the food more than made up for it.

Made reservations for lunch, but it didn't seem to be needed as there are plenty of tables available. We had are dog with us, so i wanted to make sure they had outdoor seats available. The staff was courteous and attentive Food was fresh and tasty. Started with Conch chowder and a salad. Both were plenty enough to share. The halibut fish and chips were perfectly done. They have a nice selection of adult beverages as well

This restaurant came recommended in a google search. Yelp confirmed it was a must go. Very vibrant with airy indoor seating and lots of comfortable outdoor seating. The food was great. Started with Queso Fundido. It was okay. I had the Wagyu Burger and wife had the quinoa salad. Burger was amazing. Fries were mid , but the ranch was fire!!! Some of the best ranch I’ve ever had.
